Supporting “a metre matters” ensures Carol’s safety on the road!

8th May 2010

As part of our 'a metre matters' billboard campaign we had a competition inviting people to tell us where they spotted it with a prize going to the first person.

Carol Lang-Jones from Moorabbin was the first to call in with the Melbourne billboard’s location, along the Tullamarine Freeway, and her quick work resulted in her winning a set of four Continental car tyres, valued at $1,000. These were provided and installed by local tyre fitter, former V8 Supercar champion and AGF friend, Cam McConville of Jax Moorabbin.

“I was very excited to win the prize. I spotted the billboard on a trip to the airport recently” said Carol. “It’s a great campaign which really conveys the message of bike/car safety. The Continental prize was great timing as our car was due for tyres ! Thanks very much to the Amy Gillett Foundation, Continental tyres and Jax Moorabbin.”
